I watched an episode of Abstract dedicated to Ilse Crawford, an interior designer. She was talking about a project of hers where she wanted to approach the space backward. I was stuck on this idea. I found it interesting to try and approach my project backward. So, I started this project thinking of the lamps as the focal point of the room. After picking your lamp the customer could pick out woven fabrics or prints that would coordinate with their lamp to be used for upholstery and wallpaper throughout the room. I think this would be helpful for people who want to curate their own home, I think it would help give structure to making decisions.

Digitally printed fabric, woven fabric, and hand-painted lamp bases created for this collection.
