Brittany Boyce is a designer focusing on pattern design for textiles with a strong enthusiasm for color.

I am originally from Texas (the best state in the world). I studied Textile Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. I love painting, weaving, and making patterns out of both of those mediums. I find a lot of my inspiration from my childhood; playing in my grandmother's garden, the beautiful furniture and trinkets she kept in her home. I loved to play outside as a kid searching for bugs, playing with our dogs, running around our playset. I’ve always had an obsession with beautiful objects and looking at the things my family kept around, there are specific furniture pieces or paintings that I remember staring at when I was younger. I love creating colorful, playful art that inspires that same kind of wonder I felt looking at my favorite things around the house. I love textile design because it allows you to make paintings that are more practical.

My current inspiration trying to think from the point of view of kids. I think when you’re younger there’s so much creativity and exploration in every day which I think adults start to miss out on when they feel like they know how things should be going. I love to create things that make people want to be creative too.

Let’s work together.
